BRACKNELL Forest planning bosses will meet for the last time this year next week.
Councillors and officers will sit down to discuss several controversial plans causing rifts in different communities.

Four new homes in Bracknell (planning reference 19/00756/FUL)
Two pairs of semi-detached houses are planned for Windlesham Road in Bracknell.
Planning chiefs want to approve the proposal but ten objections were sent to the authority complaining about the overdevelopment of the area and the overbearing quality of the new homes.

Bracknell Town Council also voiced its concerns but officers say the homes would not have a negative impact on the area.
New garage and swimming pool at a home in Winkfield (19/00817/FUL)
Homeowners on Winkfield Lane are hoping to add a new pool with a pavilion, a new garage and a cycle store to their abode.

Applicants already have permission for the proposed garage and cycle store but are still waiting for the all-clear for a swimming pool at the back of their site.
BFC planning gurus are happy for the proposal to go ahead but neighbours have voiced their opposition over worries about overdevelopment of the area.
Big changes at Aldi, Bracknell (19/00318/FUL)
Supermarket chiefs at Aldi have already added a new exit to the store, have made changes to the entrance and have replaced the plant unit at the site.

This application has been deferred twice by Bracknell Forest councillors as planning committee members were worried about noise pollution from the ‘constantly running’ plant unit.
Aldi managers also want to add a canopy over the site to reduce noise coming from the supermarket, but Bracknell Town Council and nine neighbours are still worried about loud sounds reaching properties nearby.
These next two items aren’t being discussed at the planning committee meeting next week, but are plans which caught our eye…
New parking bays in Bracknell (19/01030/FUL)
Fifteen new parking spaces could be added at Cottesmore if applicants Silva Homes get their way.
The spaces would be spread out around the street in question.
Grassy areas will be converted to created the new spaces.
Two shipping containers in Bracknell (19/00969/T)
The Honda institute wants to add two new shipping containers to its site at Cain Road in Bracknell.
Motor bosses want to keep motorcycles in these containers and are applying to use them for a period of five years.
If plans are given the green light, the site would lose six car parking spaces.
