New businesses have brought fashion and food to Slough's Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre.

Independent clothing retailer Sapphire opened in December, taking over the former Trespass unit. Sapphire boasts a wide range of fashion options as well as accessories from bags to shoes.

Also new is the café Tasty Touch, opening opposite Superdrug. Shoppers can expect freshly baked cakes and sandwiches, hot food and drinks.

Chris Shaw, centre manager said: “Queensmere Observatory is excited to welcome both Sapphire and Tasty Touch to their new home within the centre and wish them every success for 2020. These two stores are the latest to join the growing number of independent retailers here at Queensmere and will certainly add to the vibrant, community experience you can expect with a visit to our centre. The openings follow on from the recent opening of Blue Inc and Craft Coop, a joint venture from ourselves, Slough Borough Council and the retailer themselves.”
