Two drivers in Amersham have been reported after parking on zig-zags in the middle of the town.
The cars were spotted by officers on Sycamore Road in the town centre.
On Twitter, TVP Chiltern and South Buck said: "Out on the beat on Sycamore Road, Amersham.
"Two drivers reported for parking on the zebra crossing zig-zags and now face points on their licence and a fine.
"Popping into the shops is no excuse!"
Drivers risk a fine and penalty points by parking on the white zig-zag lines.
The approach to, and exit from, a pedestrian crossing is marked with white zig-zag lines and drivers must not park or overtake in this area, as parking would block the view for pedestrians and oncoming traffic.
In April last year, a van driver was also ticketed for parking close to the crossing.
