The Absolutely Fitness gym on Slough trading estate is taking a step into the future.

The gym in Liverpool Road is one of the first in the country to use Technogym’s revolutionary Bio Circuit, which uses state of the art technology to simplifies exercise regimes for the average person.

The gym, which is run by local charity Absolutely Leisure, is unique in that 100 per cent of all its profits go towards helping families of children with additional needs.

They will be letting everyone have access to the new bio circuit for a week free of charge over January and February The charity hopes that by encouraging local people to use the circuit which uses electromagnets and smart software, it will help people who would normally find the gym intimidating or confusing to get fitter and healthier by trying out the new 45 minute workout.

Chris Hotton, Manager of Absolutely Fitness Slough, said: “We are delighted to be inviting Slough residents and workers to the gym to try the Bio Circuit to help the health and wellbeing of the town. With all the confusing advice given this time of year on the different ways to be fit and healthy, we are glad to be both improving and simplifying exercise in our gyms. The Bio-Circuit is perfect for anyone who isn’t overly confident in what they are doing and for those short of time.

"We pride ourselves on providing a fun and welcoming environment, and are looking forward to having people of all abilities and ages getting active. This is a really exciting time for our charity, and we are really pleased to be at the cutting edge of the industry.”
