Firefighters were called to the scene of a three vehicle crash on the M40 on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash, which involved two cars and a van, happened on the northbound carriageway between Junction 1 and 1A at around 4.20 in the afternoon.
When the fire service arrived at the scene, their services were not required.
Under half an hour earlier, the service were also called to a lorry fire on the southbound carriageway between Junction 1A and 1.
Luckily it was a false alarm with the smoke being caused by a blown HGV engines.
