An eighteen-year-old man has been charged with conspiracy to commit theft after he attempted to steal cars on the M40 and the M25.
The attempted thefts happened on the M40 near junction 1A and on the M25 near junction 16.
These occurred between November 28 and January 30.
Anthony Ward, of Oxford Road, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, was charged with conspiracy to commit theft on Tuesday and appeared at Wycombe Magistrates Court on Wednesday, where he was released on conditional bail to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 16.
A 20-year-old from Stokenchurch and a 25-year-old man from Ryton-on-Dunsmore were also arrested in connection with the offence and have both been released on bail until February 29.
