A 13-year-old boy from Aylesbury has been mugged by a group of teenagers.

At around 12.30pm on Friday, February 21, the schoolboy was walking along Chaloner Road when he was approached by a group of five teenage boys.

The victim was pushed up against a fence whilst the boys went through his pockets before he was punched in the stomach.

They then took his cash before leaving on foot along Hampden Road towards Aylesbury town centre.

The 13-year-old did not sustain any injuries or require medical treatment.

The teenagers who committed the crime were all wearing puffer jackets with their hoods up.

One of the boys had a slim build, and the other four had a medium build with one of the boys being described was white, whilst two of them were Asian.

Investigating officer PC Patrick Cline, based at Aylesbury police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who may have seen the group of boys in the area at the time to get in touch.
