Chiltern Railways have announced that there will be a 'heavily amended timetable' this weekend with engineering works taking place between London Marylebone and Bicester.
As a result of the works, the line will be closed at several points and all journeys will be affected as a result.
Some late-night trains on Friday (March 20) will also be impacted, with the 00:20 Marylebone – Leamington Spa service terminating at Princes Risborough, and the 01:10 Marylebone to Oxford train being cancelled.
The works are being carried out as part of a scheme to prepare the tracks for high speed rail.
Chiltern Railways have advised the customers to do the following:
• Allow extra time for their journey
• Check the journey before travelling
• Purchase tickets in advance to save time at stations
