The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council has shut down its offices to the public due to the coronavirus.

From today, Wednesday, the public are not allowed to enter Maidenhead town hall unless there is a planned appointment booked or if you hear from the council otherwise.

The statement from the council said: “This is to protect you and our staff as well as ensuring our ability to continue to provide vital services.

“You can report, pay or apply for many services online.

“If you do call please bear with us as the lines may be busy.”
