Pret a Manger have announced that NHS staff will be given free hot drinks and 50 per cent off everything as a thank you for the work undertaken during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The store announced that they will be offering staff members the discounted rates as pressure ramps up on the NHS as a result of the COVID:19 outbreak.
A statement from Pret a Manger reads: "Now more than ever, you need to be able to pick up freshly made food quickly.
"So from today, we will be operating mainly as a takeaway business, with our seating areas closed.
"We are also inviting all NHS workers to enjoy their hot drinks on the house and 50% off everything else. Thank you for all that you are doing. We look forward to serving you.
"We continue to change our opening hours as necessary. Our priorities remain the wellbeing of our team members and all of you.
The chain has a cafe located in The Eden Centre in High Wycombe.
