It has been announced that all libraries operated by Bucks County Council will close for the forseeable future amid Coronavirus fears.

In a small statement published on the council's website, it was announced that some of the libraries will reopen as 'community hubs' to help the most vulnerable during the outbreak.

The statement says: "Buckinghamshire’s libraries are adapting quickly to this changing situation.

"We have closed our libraries following the government’s instruction to us all to stay at home, but you can still access our fantastic library service and borrow books, magazines and newspapers online.

"We hope to re-open some of our libraries as local community hubs to provide assistance and support to vulnerable residents.

"More information on this will follow in due course."

The announcement means that the following libraries will be closed until further notice.
