Reading’s TOP FIVE pizza places to visit after lockdown – according to Tripadvisor

Many of us will be craving a treat, perhaps a pizza, from restaurants we used to visit without a thought.

We’ve listed the top five pizza places in Reading, listed in order of relevance by Tripadvisor, to give you some ideas of places to visit when lockdown is over.

1. Papa Gee, Prospect Street

This restaurant in Caversham received 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

One reviewer described the pizzeria as "exceptional" and said "the pizzas were some of the best I've tasted (including my own), the staff friendly and the atmosphere excellent".

2. Buon Appetito, Chatham Street

This restaurant also received 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

One reviewer said: "Fabulous food, good sized portions and friendly and efficient service."

Another said they would "warmly recommend this place".

3. Cozze, Caversham Road

Another 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor for this restaurant with one customer saying they "absolutely loved this place".

They added: "Such friendly and attentive service.

"The food was also incredible.

"Loved it!

"Great portion sizes and brilliant value!

"Just wish I lived closer."

4. Zizzi

Pizza chain, Zizzi, featured as number four and five on Tripadvisor's list of Reading's best pizza places to visit.

The restaurant on the Oracle's Riverside came in with 4.5 stars and Kings Road's Zizzi received 4 stars.

One reviewer of the Riverside's Zizzi said "the food was perfect and the service was also quick even if it was busy".

5. ASK Italian, St Mary's Butts

This Italian restaurant received 4 stars on Tripadvisor.

One reviewer said: "Amazing stone baked pizza and the ravioli is still melting in my mouth."
