WINDSOR and Maidenhead Council reopens the borough’s household waste and recycling centre – but strict rules and conditions will apply.

Stafferton Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC) will reopen on Monday, May 11, to residents of the Royal Borough only where people wanting to use the tip will have to bring their advantage card, drivers licence or another proof of address displayed on their dashboards to use the tip.

The centre was closed temporarily due to Covid-19, but is now open for essential use only after the government allowed all tips to reopen with social distancing measures and personal protective measures in place after a surge in nationwide fly-tipping.
