Frogmoor is clean once again after KFC staff took it upon themselves to get rid of all the rubbish blighting the town centre space.

On Sunday, visitors to High Wycombe blasted the "appalling" mess that had appeared, including takeaway cartons and beer cans.

Recognising that some of the mess consisted of KFC takeaway wrappings, staff set about clearing it all up.

Staff have also promised to clean not only in front of the Frogmoor restaurant, but the area as a whole regularly to prevent the same situation.

A KFC spokesperson said: “With great chicken, comes great responsibility - so when we heard about the mess being made after our fans were reunited with their favourite fried chicken we stepped in and helped clear up.

"Seeing all our fans in High Wycombe again has really made us smile, but something that doesn’t make us happy is seeing people wreck the environment and spoil our communities.

"That’s why we’re asking our fans, with love, not to be a tosser and make sure their litter makes it safely to a bin.”
