A MOTORCYCLIST left a pedestrian with head and leg injuries in a hit-and-run in Oxford.
The collision, between a motorcycle, car, lorry, and the pedestrian occurred on Tuesday at about 6pm on the Eastern Bypass Road, next to a lay-by in the direction of Green Road roundabout.
Following the incident, the rider of the motorbike involved, got on to another motorbike it seemed to be travelling with and left the scene in the direction of Marsh Lane.
The pedestrian, a man in his forties, was seriously injured and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Nobody else was injured.
A blue Ford Focus and a white goods vehicle were also damaged in the collision.
The motorbike involved in the collision was a red Yamaha YZF R1.
Investigating officer PC David Burleigh, of the Roads Policing Unit based in Abingdon, said: “A man was seriously injured in this collision and we would like to trace everyone who was involved to get all the details of this incident.
“We would ask anyone who saw this happen or has dash cam footage from the time, please get in contact.

“The riders on the motorbikes were wearing helmets.

One witness who was at the scene told the Oxford Mail that they saw the motorbikes ‘pulling wheelies’ prior to the incident.
They added: “The lorry driver was marshalling another lorry back into a space and the blue car had slowed down for the lorry, and in turn one of the bikes hit the blue car and spun, and the bike slid on the floor and hit the marshalling lorry driver.
“He went about 10 feet in the air and landed on his back and smashed his head.”
