Ryan Beresford, 37, of Alma Road, Windsor pleaded guilty to seven counts of pedal cycle thefts when he appeared at East Berkshire magistrates court yesterday.

This is in connection with incidents that occurred throughout June this year in which Beresford stole bicycles in Windsor.

Beresford has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on July 29.

Investigating officer, PC Tom Hughes-Parry, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I am pleased that Beresford has admitted to his actions and will now be sentenced.

“Thames Valley Police does not tolerate this behaviour and we will work hard to bring offenders to justice.”
