The latest government figures have shown that a total of 44,819 patients have died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK, as of 5pm on Sunday.

The government has also announced that in the previous 24 hours, there were 650 new cases and 21 deaths.

The 'rate' across the UK now stands at 445.7.

In Slough, there are now a total of 644 cases, with a rate under the national average at 431.9.

In Windsor and Maidenhead there are a total of 402 confirmed cases with a rate of 266.4.

This come as beauty salons, nail bars and tattoo shops can open for the first time in four months as part of the latest relaxation of lockdown restrictions in England.

Spas, massage studios and physical therapy businesses will also be able to welcome customers again on Monday.

But businesses will be required to meet coronavirus guidelines, and restrictions on treatments which involve work directly in front of the face will not be available.

In Buckinghamshire, there are a total of 1,694 confirmed cases of Covid-19. The rate is 313.7, lower than the national average.

In Oxfordshire there are 3,123 cases with a rate of 454.2 and in Hertfordshire there are 4,148 cases with a rate of 350.2.
