POLICE monitoring cars in Tilehurst yesterday evening found 32 vehicles driving over the speed limit in Kentwood Hill.

Between 4.30pm and 7.30pm, the West Reading Neighbourhood team conducted the speeding operation in the area.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) later said on their Facebook page: "In that time, 32 vehicles were recorded driving over 35mph both up and down the hill.

One said: "I live on Kentwood Hill and speeding is a big problem, please can you [TVP] carry out speeding checks more often?"

Many others from around Reading also expressed concerns about their areas.
