A man has been arrested on suspicion of making a hoax bomb threat in Maidenhead.

Police swooped on Moorbridge Road at just after 10.30am on Saturday (July 25) following reports a man had explosives at a property.

A precautionary cordon was put in place on the road, but this was lifted on Saturday evening at around 5pm.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of making a hoax bomb threat and remains in police custody.
