Residents of Sandylands came together for a litter pick on Saturday.
Participants collected 20 bags of rubbish as well as weeding and replanting the flower beds on Broad Ings.
Equipment can be provided by Kendal Town Council for anyone wanting to set up a clean up event.
Social distancing was observed and gloves, masks and hand sanitiser were available.
