An accusation of racially abusing a police officer and possessing heroin landed 35-year-old Jamil Munir in court on Thursday.
The charges relate to an incident in Oldfield Road, Maidenhead a day earlier during which a police officer was allegedly racially abused by an offender.
Mr Munir, who lives in Arkley Court, Maidenhead, appeared at Reading Magistrates Court, facing one count of racially aggravated harassment, one count of resisting a constable in the execution of their duty and one count of possession of heroin in Maidenhead.
He is scheduled to appear again at Reading Crown Court on October 26.
