A Langley School has been singled out for a special honour - as it prepares to set up its own Saturday morning music academy.

Langley Hall Primary Academy in Station Road has been nominated to become a Music Mark school this academic year.

It was chosen for this honour by Slough Music Service - a Government funded body based at Slough Council offices in Bath Road, where it works with the borough's schools to help deliver vocal and instrumental tuition, workshops and musical events.

Claudio Di Meo, Director of Music at Langley Hall said: “I am extremely honoured that our school has been selected for this award by Slough Music Service.

"It speaks highly of how brilliantly both the Music Team and the children work at Langley Hall Primary Academy. We will continue preparing our children for life. Well done everybody.”

From January 2021 Langley Hall will open Langley Hall Music Academy, a Saturday music school open to all who want to learn or develop skills in a chosen instrument. The rich curriculum on offer will be delivered by professional musicians and specialist teachers.
