Visitors to Eton Tourist Information Centre can take the opportunity to enjoy an exhibition by Datchet-based artist and designer Basia Dobrzalska all this month.

She creates her subject digitally, in a style reminiscent of vintage London Underground travel advertising posters of the early 20th century and is inspired by the wealth of architecture and landscape around Eton, Windsor and the surrounding area.

Basia Dobrzalska's pictures on display at the Info Centre's premises at 67 High Street, Eton feature local landmarks like Eton College, Castle Hill, The Royal Station, The Copper Horse, The Long Walk and Datchet Green. The exhibition will run throughout October.

She said: “Thank you to Barbara Hunt, Manager of the Eton Tourist Information Centre, her team and the Eton Community Association for supporting me.

"The area in and around Windsor, Eton & Datchet is a fantastic and creatively inspiring place to live and work. However there are limited opportunities for local artists and craftspeople to display and sell their work. It’s brilliant that this opportunity exists here."
