Facemasks as well as food were distributed to homeless and vulnerable people at the weekend by members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Slough.

The masks had been specially stitched by members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association, while the hot chicken curry and rice had been prepared by members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association for the soup kitchen it runs with Slough Outreach in Slough High Street.

President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Atiq-Ahmad Bhatti said: “Our commitment is to serve others who are in need during difficult times and during good times. This year is particularly challenging in so many respects, so we have stepped up our efforts more so to assist and support as many vulnerable members of society as possible.”
