THE level of restrictions in place in Slough under the new tier system has been confirmed.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the three-tier system to MPs yesterday (Monday) and it will come into effect on Wednesday.
The government has said Slough will be in tier one at ‘medium’ alert level, the lowest of the three tiers with the least tightest restrictions.
This means Slough will only have to follow national measures despite rising cases in the borough – which is 85 cases per 100,000 from October 3-9, according to the BBC.
