'SNIFFER'' dogs Cooper and Rosie made a visit to Langley College on Monday - but they were not there on a raid.

The dogs from the ICTS Drug Detection Team had been invited to be part of the college's drug awareness education programme.

The dogs and their handlers work with students across the college to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and highlight the importance of creating a safe environment for learners.

The dogs were a big hit with students. Cooper even had a temporary membership of the Student Union (SU) donning the bright red sweatshirt alongside members of the SU who have actively supported the activity.

Kate Webb Windsor Forest Colleges Group CEO and Group Principal said: "We are all aware of the danger that drugs can present to young people.

"As a college we play an important role, alongside parents and the wider community in educating and preventing our young people from falling victim to drug misuse.
