Grant Mitchell may be a favourite TV villain - but actor Ross Kemp who plays him is a hero to his friends at Thames Hospice.
Ross is a long term supporter of the hospice, which moved this year from its home at Hatch Lane, Windsor to new premises at Bray Lake, near Maidenhead.
Ross supported the Raise the Roof fundraising campaign last year to help complete the building of the hospice's new home.

Last week he paid a visit to meet inpatients and their families.
While there he also also pre-recorded a special video for the hospice's online Light up a Life service which will be streamed on Sunday, December 13 at 4pm.
