Children from a Slough school have helped cheer up elderly patients visiting the Covid-19 Vaccination clinic at the Desborough Suite in Maidenhead - by creating happy and colourful posters.
Long Close School is in Upton Court Road, Slough.
Children from Year 3 jumped into action when Maidenhead Primary Care Network (PCN) asked the school to get involved because many of the elderly patients had not been outside since March and were understandably frightened and nervous.

Dr Amandeep Dosanjh said: “We are very grateful to the children. They have done a fantastic job designing happy and cheerful posters to help spread the positivity amongst the elderly in our local community."
The children’s posters will be displayed inside the vaccination centre.
