ALL Slough wards have seen a reduction in Covid-19 cases – some drastically so – according to the latest Berkshire Public Health (BPH) figures.

BPH publishes a weekly Covid-19 briefing and breaks down the data by electoral ward.

The data was published on February 10 and shows the number of reported cases and their infection rate between January 29 and February 4.

BPH has rounded the data for each ward to the nearest five in order to protect the identity of individuals.

The effects of lockdown are really showing in the latest figures as there have been no recorded upticks in cases in any Slough ward – with some even seeing a drastic decrease.

Chalvey saw the biggest drop. Last week, the area recorded 100 infections – but now that figure has dropped to 35, a 65 case drop.

Langley Kedermister, once the borough’s highest infected ward, now has one of the lowest infection rates with 240 cases per 100,000.

Baylis and Stoke, Foxborough, and Langley St Mary’s, although falling, have seen their numbers reduce at a slower rate compared with other Slough areas.
