Slough's neighbourhoods worst hit by the Covid-19 pandemic have been revealed in the first annual death toll of the virus.

According to the data, published by the Office for National Statistics, 328 people in Slough died due to Covid-19 in the 12 months from March last year. 

That's a rate of 191.9 per 100,000 people. 

The peak month for deaths was January when 133 were recorded.

The figures also show which of Slough's 17 neighbourhoods saw the most and fewest deaths of residents over the 12-month period.

Factors behind a larger number can include the number of care homes in a particular area.

Iver and Richings Park: 16 deaths

Langley Foxborough: 10 deaths

Langley St Mary's: 10 deaths

Langley Kederminster: 19 deaths

Colnbrook and Poyle: 4 deaths

Central Slough and Upton Court: 7 deaths

Wexham Lea: 14 deaths

Stoke Road and Wexham Road: 16 deaths

Chalvey: 18 deaths

Baylis and Stoke: 15 deaths

Stoke Poges and George Green: 9 deaths

Cippenham Meadows: 14 deaths

Cippenham Green: 4 deaths

Haymill and Lynch Hill: 5 deaths

Britwell: 7 deaths

Burnham South: 4 deaths

Burnham North, Taplow and Dorney: 11 deaths
