POLICE data has revealed the most reported crimes across town centres in Berkshire last month.

Data from police.uk breaks down different crimes which took place across the county in February 2021 - the latest data available.

We can now reveal the most reported crime for town centres in the area.

Reading

In central Reading, there were 113 reports of crime linked to violence and sexual offences.

This was the most reported crime in the area in February 2021.

This was followed by 61 reports of shoplifting and 47 drugs related offences.

The data looks at the area roughly from Norcot to Newtown and from the River Thames below Caversham to Tilehurst Road.

Bracknell

Data which explores crime in Bracknell Town Centre shows the most reported crime in February 2021 was linked to violence and sexual offences with seven reported incidents.

Next was shoplifting with four reports and then criminal damage and arson with two.

The data looks at the centre of Bracknell which includes The Lexicon, Princess Square Shopping Centre, Halfords and The Range.

Slough

A total of 108 crimes linked to violence and sexual offences were reported in the centre of Slough last month.

Anti-social behaviour was the second most reported crime with 65 cases followed by criminal damage and arson with 34 reports.

The data looks at the area of Slough roughly from the railway station to Jubilee River and from Salt Hill past Upton Court Park.

Windsor

In central Windsor (covering Windsor Castle, Eton College and Frogmore Cottage) there were 22 reports of crime linked to violence and sexual offences.

Shoplifting was the second most reported crime with 14 cases.

This was followed by seven reports of anti-social behaviour.
