A SLOUGH man has been told his dog could be destroyed after it bit a young child last year.
Karl Hanley, of Goodwin Road, Slough, was fined £569 in compensation and court costs for not being in control of his American Mastiff, Leo, at court last week.
The mutt bit a “young child” after being “dangerously out of control” in August 2020 in Slough.

Alongside the fine, 45-year-old Hanley was told Leo must be “kept under proper control by being securely fitted with a muzzle sufficient to prevent it biting any person.”
He was also informed Leo must be kept on a lead and neutered, otherwise the dog could be put down.
