KIND hearted members of the Muslim community in Slough donated hundreds of food to help the homeless this Ramadhan.
More than 800 packages of non-perishable food was donated to Slough Outreach on Thursday, April 29.
It is part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Slough Ramadhan Big Iftar initiative.
The items will be used to help support the homeless, elderly and vulnerable members in and around Slough during the coronavirus pandemic.

Atiq Ahmad Bhatti, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Slough, said: “We have been supporting the homeless, elderly and vulnerable in Slough since March 2020, at the start of the coronavirus pandemic and we will continue to do so."
This isn't the first time the Slough Muslim community has helped vulnerable members of the community.

Last year during Ramadhan, more than 1,000 packages of food and toiletries were donated to the NHS and Covid wards.
Atiq Ahmad Bhatti added: "This year the members of the community came together as part of our local Ramadhan 2021 Big Iftar initiative as a means of increasing our charitable efforts and support to the local community.
"Every month, we serve the homeless in Slough Town Centre with Slough Outreach and we look forward to doing much more for 2021.”
