A van believed to have been used in fly-tipping has been seized by Slough Borough Council.

The vehicle was seized after being spotted parked at the side of a road.

The seizure follows an incident of fly-tipping when rubbish was strewn in front of garages in Slough last month.

Nearby members of the public took photos of the fly-tip, with a Ford Transit van being the vehicle used to take the waste to the destination in the Chatfield/Greenside area on April 27.

The vehicle had no registered keeper, making it difficult to trace it or the owner.

The van was spotted by a council officer in Northborough Road who recognised it as the potential vehicle involved.

After conducting further checks the van was seized and it was not reclaimed as it was placed on a low loader and taken away.

The rightful owner of the van may make a claim of entitlement by May 21 and be able to supply proof of identity and the registration documents.

If no claim is made the van can be sold or destroyed.

The van’s registration is HY06 UFH.

Any claim should be made to
