A TOTAL of six people from across Slough have appeared in court over the past month charged with drug dealing offences.

One of the defendants is alleged to have dealt cocaine on the borough's streets.

Another person has been in court over allegedly obstructing a police officer whilst being in possession of drugs.

Of the six defendants, four pleaded guilty to their crimes at Berkshire Magistrates' Court. Two pleaded not guilty.

One of those who isn't pleaded not guilty on April 20 is Farees Matloob, 20 of Eden Close, Slough who has been accused of being in possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A - Cocaine.

His case was sent to a trial yesterday at Reading Crown Court.

Florin Negrut, 23 of Alexander Road, Slough admitted to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B drug on March 26, 2021. He was fined £107.

Another person who admitted to their crimes is Basem Ben Ammar, 25 of Salt Hill Way, Slough.

He was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis in Slough on April 1 2020. Ammar was ordered to pay £267 to the courts.

Mohammed Akbar, 28 of James Street, Windsor, appeared at court on May 25 for being found in possession of a controlled drug of Class A. He was fined £144, ordered to pay a victims surcharge of £34.

Pleading guilty to his crimes is Aden Abdrillahi, 20 of Calbroke Road, Slough. He was found in possession of cannabis on August 19, 2020. He admitted his crimes on April 8 and was ordered to pay a £70 fine.

And finally, Kevin Okot-Ojok, 31 of  Liddon Road, London, has appeared in court accused of obstructing a police officer whilst in their duty in Slough on March 4.

He also allegedly obstructed a police officer whilst they were trying to search him and his vehicle for drugs. 

He has been remanded on unconditional bail until October 11, 2021.
