A MAN has been arrested after a woman was raped in Slough last weekend.

A 32 year old man from Slough was arrested by Thames Valley Police officers on suspicion of rape on June 17.
This comes after a 27 year old woman was approached by a man on High Street on Sunday, June 13, before they both walked to Chalvey Recreation Ground.

The victim was then raped at the scene.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed that the arrested man has been released on bail until June 15, while the investigation continues.
