THE ROYAL county is famous for housing the biggest names in Hollywood and it's not hard to see why either.

Many A-listers have called Berkshire their home whilst others own countryside getaways they can escape too from celebrity life.

In addition, Berkshire has always been a favourite with production companies - with several films and TV shows filmed here recently including Disney's Cruella, Bridgerton and Harry Potter.

Here are some locations in Berkshire where you can spot your favourite celebrities.

George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin

The pair live in the beautiful Grade II listed Alberlash Manor nestled on a four acre island in the Thames River.

Clooney fell in love with Sonning after shooting scenes of Hollywood movie The Monuments Men luxury home. The couple were talk of the town when they were spotted enjoying a drink at The Bull pub.

Chris Evans

Slough Observer:

DJ Chris Evans shares a mansion in Ascot with his wife Natasha Shishmanian and their four kids. He also splashed out on a five-bedroom Thames-side property in Marlow, Buckinghamshire next to his best friend Tom Kerridge.

The radio star can often be seen walking around Ascot and loves to walk around Virginia Water too.

Debbie Mcgee

Slough Observer:

TV magician Paul Daniels' wife Debbie Mcgee lives in Wargrave and often appears on BBC Radio Berkshire.

She does a lot of work in Berkshire too where she attended previous award ceremonies including Pride of Bracknell awards.

Ricky Gervais

Slough Observer:

Reading born-celebrity, who grew up in Whitley, was not too far from his old stomping ground while filming After Life across the border in neighbouring county Buckinghamshire.

Local fans of the dark comedy-drama will already know that the Beaconsfield area features heavily in the first two seasons - and the first is set to be no different.

Denise van Outen

Slough Observer:

Actress and TV presenter Denise van Outen sparked rumours she was appearing on Dancing on Ice after being papped in Slough.

According to the Express, Denise was seen in Slough ice arena to do a Covid test as that is where the testing site is.

Will Smith

Slough Observer:

The Fresh Prince himself left people shocked when he turned up at a gym in Bracknell for a workout in 2019.

He was in the area filming at the studios in Arborfield and popped in for some exercise.

Chris Eubank

Slough Observer:

A former British boxing champion was seen filming in Bracknell's KFC takeaway in March last year.

Staff felt excited to meet him and described him as 'funny and really nice."
