A Slough man has received a community order after pleading guilty to beating a police constable.
38-year-old Shaid Ahmed Khan pleaded guilty to beating the constable on December 17.

Khan was given a community order and must undergo treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident for six months.

He must also carry out unpaid work for 60 hours within the next twelve months.
Khan was also told to pay £100 in compensation.
