Major plans have been submitted to convert the UK headquarters of a well-known toy company into new residential properties.

Developers have submitted a planning application that would see the vacant offices at Mattel House on Vanwall Road being converted into a total of 28 new flats.

The site is located in the southwest of Maidenhead, approximately 1.4 km south of St Mark’s Hospital and 1.8 km northeast of White Waltham airfield.

The proposed flats within the two-storey building range from studio apartments to three-bedroom flats.

Four of these flats are planned to be studio apartments with 18 one-bedroom flats being proposed as well as three two-bedroom and three three-bedroom flats.

A total of 38 car parking spaces will also be provided, should the plans be granted.

No alterations to the building footprint or external appearance of the building form part of the proposals.
