IT'S National Doughnut week and what better way to celebrate than tucking into some tasty treats.

The week will run from Saturday, July 10 until Sunday, July 18, to raise funds for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injuries.

Multiple bakeries across Slough are taking part in the cause and all you have to do is purchase a doughnut from a participating baker.

Luckily, Slough has a few places which have opted in National Doughnut Week.

Priestley Bakers in Slough Trading Estate is taking part in the event hoping to raise money for the charity through the sales of their doughnuts.

There are also plenty of other places around Slough where you can purchase a doughnut but bear in mind they are not taking part in the good cause.

The Sugar Village - Buckingham Avenue

This lovely village bakery sell desserts and handmade doughnuts you can only dream of.

From caramel to Oreo and milk-chocolate, there are all kinds of tasty treats to choose from.

Krispy Kreme - Tesco

An obvious choice and people's go-to is Krispy Kreme where you can get doughnuts with all kids of fillings.

They do Nutella filled doughnuts, Biscoff and supported England in the Euros with St George flag doughnuts.

If you like sharing then they do large doughnut boxes.
