MORE people have been using the roads since lockdown restrictions lifted on essential travel.

Some of Slough's most used roads shows how many crashes happened on them and the severity, according to the interactive online website Crash Map.

The data shows how many accidents happened from 2016 to 2020 and where in Slough they happened, including details such as how many people were involved in the crash and the severity of it.

In the last four years, there were 396 serious and fatal crashes according to the data.

Which roads are the most dangerous?

A4 Bath Road

Slough Observer:

In June 2020, a car was involved in an accident on the Bath Road in Slough.

There have been multiple occasions where people have been involved in collisions.

Dozens of crashes have happened in the past five years, including a crash at the junction with Ledgers Road where two cars were involved.

2016 saw a bad accident involving two cars and three people reportedly died, according to crash map data.

Windsor Road

Slough Observer:

A number of accidents have happened on the busy Windsor Road, especially near the junction of Chalvey Road East.

In the past five years, nine crashes have happened there. 2018 saw three people involved in the crash.

Shaggy Calf Lane

Slough Observer:

At the junction of Shaggy Calf Lane and the B416, a number of severe accidents have happened between 2016 and 2020.

In January 2017, a serious crash happened involving two cars. More recently, last year there were two crashes which happened at this same spot.
