A BRACKNELL woman has been fined more than £1,000 after looking after children but not having a childminding licence.
The woman, who cannot be named but who is from Bracknell, provided early years childminding without being registered as an early years childminder between November and December 2018.

In doing this, she contravened an enforcement notice issued under the childcare act of 2006.
She initially pleaded not guilty in January 2020 but was convicted at Reading Magistrates’ Court on July 12, 2021.
Here, she was told to pay a £1,200 fine, costs of £600 and a £120 victim surcharge.

The Bracknell woman did not appear for her hearing last week.
