Developers are eyeing an area of brownfield land in Slough for a new housing development. 

A planning application has been submitted to redevelop the existing brownfield site at 155-157 Chalvey Grove in Slough into a total of 16 new residential flats.

The new flats will comprise of five one-bedroom flats, nine two-bedroom flats, and two three-bedroom flats.

Also included in the plans are 21 new car parking spaces, bin and cycle storage, and garden amenities.

The site is currently vacant having previously been used as a motor repair workshop.

Before any permission is granted, Thames Water will be consulted by the developers to confirm whether the public combined sewer network within Chalvey Grove would have sufficient capacity.

Brownfield land is defined as any previously developed land that is not currently in use that may be potentially contaminated.
