A driver from Slough couldn't remember a basic fact about his brother while attempting to avoid a police fine on Tuesday evening.
After being stopped in Slough for driving without insurance, the man pretended to be his brother who is insured on the car - but he couldn't remember their birthday.
He will receive a £300 fine and six points on his licence, according to Thames Valley Police.

The force's Roads Policing Twitter account posted: "Quick tip, if your going to pretend to be your brother, at least know his correct date of birth.
"We soon got to the truth as he was a terrible liar."
The vehicle was seized by police.
