The owners of a former Benedictine monastery have applied to conduct restoration on a tower that dates back to the Middle Ages.
The restoration work will be undertaken at the dovecote tower at Tithecoat Manor in Hurley.
That is just one of the applications that have been submitted in the area this week.
Elsewhere, in Slough, a homeowner has applied to convert their garage into an office and gym, and another owner has applied to add a two-storey extension to their home.

Restoration works for medieval tower at former monastery (RBWM app 21/03050/LBC)
The Lord and Lady Leigh of Hurley have submitted an application to do required works to a dove tower at Tithecote Manor in the elite Berkshire village.
Tithecote Manor is a Grade I listed building due to its historical significance.
The manor used to serve as a tithebarn for Hurley Priory, a Benedictine monastery that was forced to close in the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1536.
The works relate to the dovecote in the manor, which served as a house for doves and pigeons.
A heritage impact assessment states the dovecote is of medieval origin.
Works involve brick repairs, timber repair, repairs to the roof and redecorations.
Details submitted for 61 flat development in Maidenhead (RBWM app 21/02967/CONDIT)
Details have been submitted for the 61-flat development which is being built to replace the old Clean Linen Services in Furze Platt Road, Maidenhead.
Plans to knock down the site and replace it with 46 two bedroom flats and 15 one-bedroom flats were approved in December 2018.
Now, developers Oakford Homes Maidenhead have submitted details of ground water remediation works, which was a condition of approval for the development.
Google Map images show that Clean Linen Services has been demolished, with hoardings securing the site.

Conversion of garage into office and gym (Slough app P/19687/000)
The owner of 134 Hawthorne Crescent in Slough has applied to convert their garage into an office and gym.
This involves reworking the garage, particularly by replacing the garage door with a door to the office.
Specifically, the owner wants to create an office room and a wet room, with the office having a door in it which leads to the main house.
Two storey extension for home in Britwell (Slough app P/19705/000)
The owner of 144 Long Readings Lane has applied to build a part one and two storey extension to their home.
The extension would increase the number of bedrooms in the home from three to four, and also provide the family with a new lounge.
Additionally, the extension would provide two new shower and toilet rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
