A BMW driver was fined by police for having illegal number plates.
They were stopped by Thames Valley Police officers in Slough because the number plate was not recognisable.
Police fined the driver £100 as the number plates couldn't be read.

Adding: "Number plates are there to be read. We will continue to prosecute drivers for this offence as this driver found after receiving a £100 fine."
If you do not display numberplates in the correct manner, you risk being fined by police and DVLA and even having the registration permanently withdrawn.
