BBC producers are on the hunt for small food or drink businesses in Lancashire to take part in a BBC One show, which is hosted by Gordon Ramsay.

In the new series of Future Food Stars (FFS), which will air later this year, the chef will be looking to invest in a small business.

However, the winner will have to endure a series of tough challenges, inspired by Ramsay’s own career, before they can secure the investment.

A spokesperson for the casting company said: “Contenders will need to prove they possess the raw ingredients required to succeed – drive, dedication, passion and talent.

“Gordon will push everyone to their limits through a series of relentless challenges that tests their character and business acumen.
