The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts: 

January 12

FRANCIS MCCANN, 22, of Bath Road, Slough, convicted of driving without a licence and driving without insurance on Morecambe Road, Morecambe, on August 11, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. Banned from driving for six months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £95. 

January 13

UROOJ JAMSHEED, 37, of Manfield Close, Slough, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Slough on November 27, 2019. Fined £335 and must pay £654 in court fees. Given six points on driving licence. 
MOHAMMED MALIK, 41, of Grays Road, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Banbury on May 28, 2021. Fined £660 and must pay £366 in court fees. Given six points on driving record. 
ROY STRATFORD, 50, of Randolph Road, Slough, admitted to causing criminal damage to a police vehicle in Slough on August 6, 2020. Must pay compensation of £92.40. 

January 15

ROSIE HICKS, 28, of Waverley Gardens, Slough, convicted of driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance on Meadowhall Way in Sheffield on July 26, 2021. Community order made. Requirement to take part in up to 35 days of rehabilitation activities. Banned from driving for 24 months. Must pay £180 in court fees.
