A takeaway in Slough received the worst food hygiene rating possible before it closed down.
A surprise inspection at Munchbox on December 9 found uncovered raw meat stored next to other food.
This was one risk which contributed to a rating of 0 by the Food Standards Agency, before the venue closed down a month later.

Staff at the Canterbury Avenue venue had no awareness of allergies in food and no information about allergens were displayed on menu but cooking oil made from genetically modified cooking soya.

The inspector found the restaurant did not have the correct sanitizers for a food premises and no documented food safety management system.
No hot food temperature or cooking records were found and employees had poor awareness of pest control, the inspection found.
They instructed the restaurant to prepare a sketch plan showing the location and type of rat, mouse, cockroach and fly monitors.
Food hygiene ratings range from five, the best, down to zero, which means urgent improvement is necessary.
