The Skipping Sikh, who’s exercise videos went viral during lockdown, taught the students some of his tricks on how to skip.

The married couple, who are in their 70s, also spoke to all the children about the importance of fitness, exercise and good health.

Sikh studies coordinator Mandeep Singh said: “The children were ecstatic to see the two mini celebrities taking part in the workshops.

“Those who couldn't skip or hula hoop before were able to learn today and do either of the two confidently by the end.

“All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves with Skipping Sikh and Hula Hoop Kaur by following their demonstration and talking to them during the workshops.”
